Sisters Kisha & Tanja have partenered together to create 1617 Productions. Our mission is to create remarkable events within any budget. Kisha the "Fashionista":My mom loves to tell the story that growing up, as a kid I had a birthday party every year of my life. Unlike my siblings, I demanded and planned an annual event complete with theme, menu and guest list. My parents' only job was to pay for everything. Now, as an adult I plan events for friends and family, and of course, I still have over-the-top parties every year in honor of my bday. An Account Executive for 10 years, I worked for multiple luxury brands in the fashion industry. Part of my job was to coordinate and produce fashion shows, trade shows, press previews and in-store events to market each brand. I developed a keen sense of creativity by honing in on a Designer's aesthetic and tailoring each event to their liking. Tanja the "Social Butterfly":When we were young, our parents insisted that we eat dinner together as a family. Dinner was the time to sit at a well adorned table , share stories, laugh and bond over a delicious home cooked meal. Helping my mother cook and decorate the house instilled in me a love for tasty dishes and a cozy ambiance. Recently I became part owner of Panama Jerk, a caribbean food vending/catering service. Carrying with me a strong business ethic and pursuance for excellence, I look forward to producing memorable events for years to come.1617 Productions was developed so that we could take our passion to the next level. We don't want to just create events. we want to produce unforgettable memories. Whatever you have planned, let's do it big. Let's make it a "production".
